Terms of Service

Effective February 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Who's on Second (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Description of Service

Who's on Second is a web-based platform for managing baseball and softball lineups. The Service includes lineup building, pitch count tracking, rest day calculation, fairness reporting, and team management tools. Features may change as we improve the product.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

Subscriptions & Billing

Some features require a paid subscription. Prices are listed on our pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. We offer a free trial period for new accounts.

We are committed to making Who's on Second work great for your team. If you run into any issues, please reach out through our in-app support tickets and we will do our best to resolve them. However, if you are not satisfied with your subscription, you may request a full refund within 30 days of any payment. No questions asked. To request a refund, open a support ticket from within your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose: managing baseball and softball teams. You may not use the Service to transmit harmful, unlawful, or offensive content; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service; interfere with or disrupt the Service; or use the Service for any commercial purpose other than managing your teams.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Who's on Second. You retain ownership of the data you enter (rosters, lineups, pitch counts, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the Service to you.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy in pitch count calculations, rest day rules, and fairness metrics, the Service is a tool to assist coaches — not a substitute for understanding and following your league's official rules. You are responsible for verifying compliance with your league's regulations.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Who's on Second shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lineup errors, data loss, or rule-compliance issues. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for a reasonable period to allow you to export it, after which it will be deleted.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice in the app at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
